After you have created your employees and linked them with the Payroll module, all your payroll settings are set up and you have initialized your payroll year, the next step is to start processing the payroll.
Step 1: To start processing payroll, launch the Payroll module
Step 2: Click on ‘Process Payroll’ from the left-hand side menu.
Note: This page will show you information about the payrun you are about to process; the payrun frequency, the total number of employees, the year, the payrun number, the date from and date to.
Step 3: Click on the green ‘Process’ button.
Step 4: After clicking on the ‘Process’ button, you will be presented with the list of employees that will be processed in this payrun. Click on ‘Process All’
Step 5: The payroll process will start. The loading bar at the bottom of the screen will turn green after the payrun process has been completed.
Step 6: Click on the Edit button to view your payroll.
You will be presented with a list of processed employees on the left-hand side. Upon clicking on the employee’s name, the payroll calculation from Basic Pay to Net Pay will be shown on the right-hand side of the screen. Updates to the payslip may be made from the tabbed sections underneath the payslip overview.
