The following article will provide you with instructions on how to link an employee to the Timekeeper module after creating the employee on WorkForce.
After the new employee is linked with the Timekeeper module, you can view the punches.
Note: If you have a punch clock device connected with WorkForce Timekeeper, the employee will sync automatically to the punch clock to enroll his/her face and/or fingerprint templates after following the process below.
Step 1: Open the employee profile, by going to Employees>List, and open the employee by clicking on Edit / View
Step 2: Assign a punch clock number to the employee by going to the General Information tab and inputting the number in the Badge ID (Punch clock number) field.
Note: We suggest using the same number as the Employee Number as the employee's Badge ID. Please refrain from using leading zeros.
Step 3: Link the employee with the Timekeeper module by clicking on the Timekeeper product from the left-hand sidebar and clicking on the Save button.
The employee profile includes many information fields related to the employee, however, not all fields are required for Timekeeping purposes. For more information on each employee field please click here.
