In cases where you have employees who work remotely or do not start or end their workday at the company premises, Timekeeper allows for remote punching in. This article will explain how employees can use the remote clocking feature. Before proceeding with this article, please ensure that you have granted employees access to punch in/out remotely.

1. Punching In/Out from an Android Phone

Step 1: Download the DataByte WorkForce Android App from Google Play (if you have already downloaded the app please skip this step).

Step 2: Sign in to the Android App using your WorkForce email address and password.

Step 3: Make sure that your smartphone's location is enabled.

Step 4: Click on the Remote Clocking menu item.

Step 5: Click Punch In/Out to submit your punch.

If you are using the app in offline mode, you can still punch in/out. The punches will be temporarily stored in the 'Sync Offline Clockings' page and will be automatically synced once you connect to a network.

2. Punching In/Out from an iPhone

Step 1: Go to the following URL: https://app.workforce.com.mt/ and log in using your WorkForce email and password.

Step 2: Click on the Install App menu item. The DataByte WorkForce app will be added as a new icon on your iPhone.

Step 3: Open the DataByte WorkForce app.

Step 4: Ensure that your smartphone's location is enabled.

Step 5: Click on the Remote Clocking menu item.

Step 6: Click Punch In/Out to submit your punch.

If you are using the app in offline mode, you can still punch in/out. The punches will be temporarily stored in the 'Sync Offline Clockings' page and will be automatically synced once you connect to a network.

3. Punching In/Out from a Computer

Step 1: Go to the following URL: https://tatt.workforce.com.mt/ClockingMobile and log in using your WorkForce email and password.

Step 2: Ensure that your smartphone's location is enabled.

Step 3: Click on ‘Clock In’ (if you have already clocked in, the page will show 'Clock Out').
