How do I process and approve employees' Overtime and Short Hours?
This process is done from the Approvals page in the TimeKeeper module:
Step 1: Launch the WorkForce Timekeeper module, click on Approvals from the left-hand side menu, and then on By Employee.
Note: Alternatively, you can use the 'By Date' page to process and approve employees' overtime and short hours.
Step 2: Choose the date from, date to, and the employee and click on Refresh.
Step 3: You may check the data and make adjustments to any of the overtime entries where necessary. If you wish to approve all entries on the page, you may click the checkbox next to the top of the ‘Approved’ column, followed by the ‘Approve hours’ button at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, single days may also be approved by clicking the checkboxes in the ‘Approve’ column for each day, followed by the ‘Approve hours’ button at the bottom of the page.

How do I troubleshoot and solve issues related to invalid days?
In order for WorkForce Timekeeper to correctly display working hours, it must receive an even number of clockings that follow an in-and-out sequence on every day that the employee creates clockings.
By keeping this concept in mind, you will easily be able to make corrections in the event that clocking errors appear on the approval screen. Clocking corrections can be made in the forms of adding manual clockings on behalf of the employee in the case that an employee forgets to punch in or out, disabling extra clockings (for example, the employee punches twice in the morning), or adding night-shift clocking adjustments depending on the cause of the error appearing, and the situation that contributed to the error.
Note: An alternative way of adding manual clockings or disabling extra clockings is by clicking on the date in the approval screen.
