Once entries for a selected date range have been approved, you may now proceed to Lock the Period so that the approved attendance, overtime, and short hours are transferred to the payroll module.
Step 1: Launch the WorkForce Timekeeper module, click on Approvals from the left-hand side menu, and then on Lock Period.
Step 2: Select the date under End of Period and the Team and press on Lock (if all the employees are approved, you can select All under the Team drop-down)
Note: The first time that you lock a period, you are required to select the Start of Period. From then onward, only the End of Period will be required, since the start date will be the day after the previous locked period.
Note: Please note that once a date range is locked, it cannot be reversed for more than one period. A practical example of this would be: If you lock January and then lock February and then March. The system will allow you to unlock March, but you can’t unlock February.
