After creating the Leave Types for the year, the Leave Module allows you to provide custom entitlements to your employees.
Step 1: Launch the Leave module
Step 2: Click on Setup from the left-hand side menu, and then on Employee Leave
Step 3: From the Assign Leave section choose the Year, the Employee, the Leave Type, and enter the Default Entitlement (in terms of hours).
Step 4: Click on Assign
Note: If the Applicable To is left empty, the custom entitlement will be valid till the end of the year.
Note: If a custom leave entitlement has already been assigned, and you would like to edit the value, select the Year, Employee, and Leave Type from the Assign Leave section. The employee with the respective assigned leave will show in the Assigned Leave List section. To edit the value, click on the edit icon next to the entitlement, enter the value and press the Enter key to save your changes.
