The Employee File Repository system in WorkForce People helps you organize all of your scattered papers, files, and data in one place, keeping track of all of your critical documents and providing your employees with around-the-clock access to files and documents.
Files in WorkForce People are split into two types of folders: Public Folder and Employee Folder.
The main difference between the Public and Employee Folder is that in the Public Folder, generic company-related files can be uploaded (these relate to all Employees in the company), for example, Employee Handbook, Company Policies such as Internet Usage Policies, Health and Safety manual, and so on. All employees within the company can be given access to view such files in their Employee Portal.
On the other hand, files that relate directly to a particular employee, such as the employment contact, CV, training and work-related certificates, and so on can be uploaded to the Employee Folder.
Note: The employee must be linked with WorkForce People in order to have a personal folder.
Note: You must have Administrative permissions on WorkForce People to access the Setup page.
