Categories are required when uploading new Files to the system and are used to define a retention period for your Files.
Note: You must have Administrative permissions on WorkForce People to access the Setup page.
Step 1: Launch the WorkForce People module
Step 2: Click on Setup, then on Categories from the left-hand side menu
Step 3: Enter the category Name, Retention Period (only numbers are accepted in this field), select the Retention Period Type (the options are day/s, month/s, and year/s), and click on Add
For example, you would like to add a file category for your Drivers' Licence with a retention period of 2 years:
Note: Keep the Retention Period and Type fields empty if you would like to add a category that never expires.
Step 4: The File Category is added to the Category List on the left-hand side of the page. You can choose to edit a file category or deactivate an unused category by clicking on the respective action buttons next to the category.
