When an employee gets terminated, WorkForce will calculate Pro-Rate the employee's Leave entitlements based on the termination date.
Step 1: Launch the WorkForce People module
Step 2: Click on Employees, then on List from the left-hand side menu
Step 3: Open the employee profile by clicking on Edit/View
Step 4: Go on the Leave Information tab, click on the ‘Click here to check Termination Pro-Rata Calculation’ link to view the employee's Leave Pro-Rata calculation.
Step 5: Upon pressing the ‘Click here to check Termination Pro-Rata Calculation’ link, a Window appears with all the Leave Types assigned to the employees and the respective Pro-Rata calculation as follows:
- Employee Leave Details – The Entitlement and Carried Forward the employee started with at the beginning of the year.
- Leave Pro-Rata & C/F – This is the Pro-Rata calculation of the entitlement based on the employee's termination date.
- Leave Taken - The number of Approved Leave hours till the termination date
- Total Remaining – This is the sum of the Termination Pro-Rata Entitlement and the remaining Carried Forward less the total approved hours.
